Bio

Melek Toraman was born on 06.03.1972 on the Northern German Island of Sylt.
She was graduated in 1995 from Accademia Italiana in Florence, Italy as a Designer. After her business life in Istanbul, she settled in Alaçatı in 2006 due to his passion for Windsurfe and nature. In 2012 Turkey Windsurf Championships and World Rankings, she achieved degrees in the top eight.

She opened her first personal exhibition in Alaçatı. With her strong brush work, her free technique and contemporary art won acclaim. Her paintings began to attract the attention of many collectors and galleries.

She has works in private collections at home and abroad, and the artist, who has held many personal exhibitions, has participated in various group exhibitions. The artist has participated in many exhibitions in Collective Venice Contemporary Italy, Galerie am Meer 2 Germany, Collective Florence Roccart Gallery Italy and Turkey.

By focusing on the materials he uses in the painting, he invites the viewer to think about the principles of making and coloring the painting, passing through the free depths of the soul and inviting a view between imagination and reality.
